A Letter from our director
Dear Hereford High School Sports Boosters,
We are about 2/3 through my first season as Athletic Director and I can’t be more grateful for the relationship that we have developed in a short time period. Your efforts do not go unrecognized by me and all our coaches. Not only have you been very successful at raising money for our programs, but you have been invaluable as a source of knowledge and wisdom.
I look forward to our monthly meetings to share how our student athletes are performing and ways that we can work together to continue our motto of Rich Past, Bright Future.
I wanted to specifically thank you for always listening to what our coaches need and want to put our student athletes in the best possible position to meet with success as they grow and develop.
Some highlights of how the funds you are raising directly and indirectly benefit not only our student athletes but the school and community in general are listed below:
Funding for weight room improvement for all our programs and weight training classes
Football program equipment and team dinner support
Sideline jackets for the girls’ lacrosse team
Helmets, equipment, and storage solutions for boys’ lacrosse
Senior banners for boys’ basketball
Practice gear for boys’ and girls’ basketball
Concession support for all Fall and Winter Sports programs including Chik Fil A
Support for parking and concessions for the Bull Run and State Cross Country Championship
Transportation funds for track events many of which require coaches to drive long distance to other states
New boys track uniforms
Track and stadium improvements

Website development and communication support
Transportation for the wrestling team to see Owen Bell’s ceremony at Bucknell University
Wrestling State Championship lodging for coaches
Baseball communication system
Ticket booth and renovations for the stadium and the time effort, energy, and patience required to complete the 7330 process
Financial support for professional development at the MD State Athletic Directors Conference
